We are currently seeking a self-driven and customer focused Construction Machinery Sales Representative, with strong interpersonal and networking skills. Previous experience as a sales representative within the construction or agricultural machinery industry is required.

The Role:

Based in Brisbane, the successful candidate will be responsible for maximising the sale of new and used construction machinery and equipment within their assigned territory. This role involves managing existing customer relationships, identifying and developing new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction in line with company objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

Represent the company in the sale of machinery and equipment to customers within a defined sales area.
Achieve sales budgets and profitability targets in line with company goals.
Build, develop, and manage a strong client portfolio of new and existing customers.
Present and demonstrate the company’s product range, clearly articulating value propositions to close sales and secure long-term contracts.
Prepare and deliver machinery and equipment to customers, ensuring all documentation and deal paperwork is accurately completed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales data, customer records, and pipeline management using the CRM system.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring repeat business and customer loyalty.
Monitor customer trends, business activities, and competitor products, providing timely feedback to management.
Organise and participate in customer training days, expos, and field demonstrations.
Maintain acceptable profit margins on new and used sales.
Submit weekly reports on sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline updates.

You will need:

Minimum 2+ years of proven experience as a Sales Representative or in a similar sales or customer service role, ideally within the construction or agricultural machinery industry.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of sales processes, account management, and customer relationship management.
Proficiency in using CRM software to manage client information, track leads, and monitor sales performance.
Highly self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable:

Knowledge of Liugong construction equipment and machinery specifications, including technical and operational features.
